Ater more than three and a half productive, enjoyable years, we have parted company with Will. Hummer are busy these days, and we intend to do more in the coming months. Unfortunately, those two things aren't compatible, as Will can't be in two places at once.
We've had a cracking time playing together over the years, and Sharrock and I wish him all the very best with Hummer. We look forward to having a drink or ten together soon.
Meanwhile, Sharrock and I will be playing our gig at the Bay Horse in Sheffield tonight as a two-piece, rather than cancel. (We found out a few weeks ago that Will was double booked, so took the decision to play it anyway then, with the promoter's blessing.) We've got a fun-packed half-hour of proto-thrash, end-of-the-pier jokes, snuff and Snuff planned, all in support of Punk 4 the Homeless and We Shall Overcome (tinned food and related donations welcome - see the flier, below).
Beyond that, we're looking for a new bassist, so if you like proto-thrash, end-of-the-pier jokes, snuff and Snuff - oh aye, and can play the bass and sing a bit - please do give us a shout.
Ta'ra.
